Order tracking and customer follow-up for UAE SMEs
When orders arrive through WhatsApp, email and phone calls, the conversation can move faster than the record. A shared order register and a clear next action help your team keep track of enquiries, quotations and promised delivery dates.
Who this is suitable for
Small shops, mall kiosks, trading companies and service firms that lose track of requests or depend on one person remembering every follow-up. A small team does not automatically need ERP: a structured spreadsheet may be the right first step.
An illustrative workflow
This example is a proposed process, not a client case study. A customer asks for an item in WhatsApp. A staff member records the request, assigns an owner, checks availability, prepares a quotation and records the next follow-up date. Once accepted, the record moves to fulfilment. The team sees outstanding actions in one place, while the original conversation remains available for context.
What implementation involves
Agree what counts as an enquiry and an order, who owns each status, and which fields are essential. Review existing data, permissions and handoffs. Start with a small pilot and teach the team how to update records. TOLX can help select and set up suitable tools, plan integrations or a focused custom solution, and support adoption. Odoo is one possible foundation.
WhatsApp requests may be recorded manually. Native WhatsApp integration, automated message capture and synchronisation depend on verified platform access, consent, technical feasibility and agreed scope; they are not included by default.
Discuss your order workflow
Bring an anonymised example of an enquiry and explain where it gets lost. Ask TOLX to review your order and follow-up process, or explore our existing solutions.
